The winners of the 3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition have been chosen:



Grand prize of the 3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition – Tigran Ohanyan (Armenia)

 




First prize winner – Andrey Nemzer (Russia)

 




Second prize winner – Aliaksandr Mikhniuk (Belarus)



Third prize winner – Zarina Abaeva (Russia)




Audience Choice Award – Margharyta Liauchuk (Belarus)

 

Special prizes from the jury were awarded.


Zarina Abayeva was awarded a special prize from the Artistic Director of the Al Bustan Festival conductor Gianluca Marcianò. The singer will perform at the Al Bustan Festival in Beirut.

The General Director of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus Vladimir Gridyushko awarded the finalist Oleg Budaratskiy (Russia) a special prize – an invitation to sing in one of the performances of our theater. In addition, the artist was invited to perform in the Gala concert of the Estonian National Opera in August 2017, the appropriate diploma was presented by the artistic Director of the Estonian National Opera Tarmo Eespere.

Professor Hans-Joachim Frey noted the performance of Margharyta  Liauchuk (Belarus) by presenting an invitation to sing in a concert  in The Brucknerhaus.

The privilege to participate in one of the performance on the stage of the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Theatre was granted by the Director of the theatre Tadey Eder to Tigran Ohanyan (Armenia). The winner of the Grand Prize of the competition also received a special award from Christoph Meyer, the General Director of the Deutsche Oper am Reine. Tigran Ohanyan and the finalist Nazym Sagyntai were invited to audition with the prospect of further participation in one of the performances of the current repertoire of the theatre (season 2017-2018 or 2018-2019).

The finalist of the 3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition Katsiaryna Mikhnavets will take part in three concerts and one Gala in November 2017 at the Canadian Théâtre Lyricoregra 20 – this award noting the Belarusian singer was presented by the General Director of the theatre Alain Nonat.
