Anna Nalbandyants in the role of Pamina

The soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Anna Nalbandyants will perform the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Soprano Anna Nalbandyants graduated from the Glinka Minsk State Music College and St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Minsk audience already saw her in La bohème, which premiered at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in April this year. In this performance, created by the famous Moscow director and People's Artist of Russia Alexander Titel, the young singer performed the role of Mimi.

She is a trainee and assistant of the People's Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva at the Conservatoire and guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artists Opera Program under the directorship of Dmitry Vdovin. She has also participated in several concerts at the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre (musical director of the concerts — Semyon Skigin).  Since 2014, she has been a guest soloist of the Bolshoi Opera, where she debuted in 2014 as Gerda in the new production of Banevich’s Story of Kai and Gerda and also performed there Barbarina in the new production of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.

In 2015, she underwent a traineeship at the Monte Carlo Opera Academy where she worked on her French and Italian répertoire and performed in the gala concert at the Garnier Hall of the Monte Carlo Opera on completion.

Since 2015 Anna is a trainee of the Mikhailovsky Opera. On the stage of the theater the singer performs the roles in the operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Antonín Dvořák, Boris Asafyev, Engelbert Humperdinck. She also performs vocal part in the ballet Multiplicity. Forms of Silence and Emptiness by Nacho Duato.

The young singer became known to millions of viewers as a participant of the television project "Big Opera".
