OLGA PERETYATKO'S RECITAL

The concert of the Russian opera singer will take place on 15 December in the framework of the 9th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

Her uniquely compelling voice and stage presence allow Olga to combine an active opera career with frequent recitals at the most legendary venues. Her schedule is painted for several years ahead, and theatres are fighting to invite Olga to perform the main role. There is hardly a major opera house that has not yet invited her to sing lead roles, including Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Berlin, Munich and Hamburg state operas, Vienna State Opera, Zurich Opera House, Lausanne Opera, Opera Monte Carlo, La Fenice in Venice, Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Real in Madrid, Opéra Bastille in Paris, Netherlands Opera in Amsterdam, La Monnaie in Brussels, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Olga Peretyatko made her international break-through after winning Plácido Domingo’s prestigious Operalia Competition. She also was awarded as Best solo album of the year at the renowned ECHO Klassik. She worked in festivals under the direction of such masters as Alberto Zedda, Zubin Mehta, Richard Bonynge, Lorin Maazel, Marc Minkowski, Renato Palumbo and others. Her latest album Russian Light, released by Sony Classic, won the prestigious OPUS Klassik award in autumn 2018.

Peretyatko’s recital schedule has included a performance under the Eiffel Tower for the Bastille Day celebrations in front of a live audience of 600,000 people. The same repertoire was featured on a tour of China with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and Maestro Kent Nagano.

Olga Peretyatko's recital will undoubtedly become the most anticipated event of the Opera Forum. The concert programme will include arias from famous operas by Glinka, Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi and other authors.
