Vladimir Galouzine and Nataliya Tymchenko Aida

On 24 November the stars of the Mariinsky Theatre Vladimir Galouzine and Nataliya Tymchenko will perform in Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece Aida staged by Mikhail Pandzhavidze. Tymchenko will appear in the title role of the captive Ethiopian Princess, Galouzine will try on the role of the Egyptian captain of the guard Radames, who is in love with her.

He is in much demand internationally, performing regularly during the last two decades as a guest of most of the world's most prominent opera houses, concert halls and festivals, including: New York's Metropolitan Opera, Chicago's Lyric Opera, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera in the United States, London's Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in the United Kingdom, Milan's Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Vienna State Opera in Austria, Opera National (Bastille) and Theatre de Chatelet, both in Paris, Madrid's Teatro Real and Barcelona's Grand Teatre del Liceu in Spain, Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Amsterdam's Nederlandse Opera in the Netherlands, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Cologne Opera, New National Theater in Tokyo, Japan, New Israeli Opera. Vladimir Galouzine has collaborated with many of the world's most important conductors including Valery Gergiev, Carlo Rizzi, James Conlon, Dennis Russell Davies, Marcello Viotti, and stage directors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Graham Vick, August Everding, Giancarlo Del Monaco and Elijah Moshinsky.

Her repertoire at the Mariinsky Theatre includes: Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lisa (The Queen of Spaded), Kupava (The Snow Maiden), Militrisa (The Tale of Tsar Saltan), Zemfira (Aleко), Polina (The Gambler), Liu (Turandot), Leonora (La forza del destino), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Nedda (Pagliacci), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Elvira (Don Giovanni).

Tymchenko has appeared as a guest in many of the world's most prestigious stages, including New York's Carnegie Hall, Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona, London's Barbican Hall, Vienna's Theater an der Wien, Opéra de Marseille, Moscow Philharmonic and Baden-Baden Festspielhaus.

We also want to add that on 24 November the leading roles in Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida will feature the Honoured Artists of the Republic of Belarus Oksana Volkova as Amneris, Andrei Valentii as Ramfis and Vladimir Gromov as Amonasro.  The Honoured Artist of Ukraine maestro Viktor Ploskina will conduct.
