Third prize in the 10th International Competition of Young Musicians "Musical Vladivostok" (Russia, 2018)

Irina Poleshchuk graduated from the St Petersburg Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov State Conservatory (class of Professor T.V.Novikova, 2023). As a student, she performed the roles of Flora in La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, Olga in Eugene Onegin, Laura in Iolanta, Polina, the Governess in The Queen of Spades by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, the productions of the Opera House of St Petersburg Conservatory.

 

In August 2022, she became a participant of the 1st Sochi Classical Music Festival, where she worked on the role of Mercedes in the production of Georges Bizet’s Carmen conducted by Alexei Aslanov and directed by Ilya Ustyantsev. In the same year, she performed the role of the Tsaritsa in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Christmas Eve at the Winter Theatre in Sochi (concert version).

 

In 2023, Irina Poleshchuk sang the role of Laura in a semi-stage production of Iolanta in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory under the baton of Ivan Rudin. In the year 2023/2024, she studied at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Center, where she performed the roles of Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto and Laura in Iolanta.

 

In July 2024, she became a participant of the Ildar Abdrazakov Summer School in St Petersburg, where she trained with Ildar Abdrazakov, Mzia Bakhturidze, Irina Soboleva, Alexey Tikhomirov, Idris Gaziev. She performed in the opening gala of the 7th Ildar Abdrazakov Music Festival at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre.

 

In September 2024, she joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
