Yanosh Nelepa graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 1998. The following year, he received his master’s degree in voice from the same academy (class of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Leonid Ivashkov).
He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 1997.

Tenor part in cantatas and oratorios by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Orff and others
Yanosh Nelepa has performed a number of cantatas and oratorios abroad, including Orff’s Carmina Burana, Great Mass in C minor by Mozart, Haydn’s Harmoniemesse with Belarusian orchestras in Germany; Bach’s St John Passion, Mozart’s Requiem, Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the symphony orchestra of Kaliningrad in Spain, etc.
In 2015, he sang the part of Evangelist in Bach’s St Matthew Passion, and in 2016 the part of solo tenor in Bach’s Christmas Cantata with the symphony orchestra of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society under the baton of Alexander Anissimov.
He is prolific on the concert platform, being also an active participant of numerous artistic projects of The Russian Song ensemble of vocalists. His recent international appearances include concerts in Austria and Germany in 2016 and 2017.
With the Belarusian opera company, he has toured Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
