Irina Butel graduated in piano with honours from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2020, and received her master's degree from the same academy in 2021.
She joined the music staff of the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2022. Along with playing in rehearsals and classes, she prepares chamber programmes and performs in the theatre's vocal and instrumental chamber concerts. She regularly plays with the theatre's musical ensembles, including the Gloria instrumental trio, the flute quartet of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, etc.
She is a regular pianist of the concert programmes of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus and often performs in concerts of national significance, including the Days of the Union State of the 33rd International Festival of Arts "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" (2024), the Day of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the International Festival of Classical Art "Caspian Seasons" (2024), a gala concert of masters of arts as part of the award ceremony of the Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus "For Spiritual Revival" and Special Prizes for Figures of Culture and Arts, as well as "Belarusian Sports Olympus" in the Palace of the Republic (2024), the concert "Young Stars of the Union State" as part of the Days of Belarusian Culture in Russia at the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (2024).
She was a senior accompanist during the production of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin (2024).
The concerts where Irina Butel has performed include: "From CLASSIC to Jazz", "Glinka and His Contemporaries", "New Breath", "Reflection", "From Baroque to Blues", "Portraits. Isaac Dunaevsky", "Played by Young Musicians of the Bolshoi" (the concert of laureates and scholarship holders of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth), "ContraBass-LIVE" cycle, etc.
In 2024, she took part in the International Festival of Classical Art "Caspian Seasons" (Russian Federation, Astrakhan), performing in the concert "Day of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan". In the same year, along with soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, she presented Belarusian art in the concert given at the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as part of the Days of Belarusian Culture in Russia (with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation).
