Natalia Akinina graduated from the Mikhail Glinka Minsk Music School in 1992 and the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 1996 (Associate Professor Valentina Rogovich’s class).

Upon graduation, she worked as a soloist of the ensemble SONORUS lead by Alexey Shut.

She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2005.

Natalia Akinina has appeared in guest performances at major venues in Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, France, Germany, and Spain.

As a member of the Belarusian opera company she has toured Thailand and the Netherlands.
