Nikolai Koliadko is a graduate of the Gnesins State Music and Pedagogical Institute in Moscow and the Lithuanian State Conservatoire in Vilnius.
In 1979, he joined the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus as a conductor.
He was an associate professor of the orchestra conducting department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music for over 30 years.

Koliadko is a music director and conductor of numerous productions, including operas Un ballo in maschera and Don Carlo by Giuseppe Verdi, George Bizet’s Carmen, Cavalleria rusticana by Pietro Mascagni, Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Medium, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Gianni Schicchi by Giacomo Puccini, Andrey Bondarenko’s The Prince of Novograd; and ballets Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Serenade and The Sleeping Beauty, Cesare Pugni’s La Esmeralda, La Fille mal gardée by Louis Herold, Tristan and Isolde to Richard Wagner’s music, Adolphe Adam’s Giselle, ou les Wilis, Pas de Quatre by Cesare Pugni, Flower Festival in Genzano by Edvard Helsted, The Little Humpbacked Horse by Rodion Shchedrin.

His repertoire includes operas Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida, Tosca and Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini, Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor, and ballets Swan Lake by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Boléro by Maurice Ravel, Sergey Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Le Sacre du Printemps by Igor Stravinsky, Carmen Suite by Georges Bizet and Rodion Shchedrin, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Aram Khachaturian’s Spartacus, The Creation of the World by Andrey Petrov, La Bayadère by Ludwig Minkus, etc.


CONCERT TOUR

He has conducted the company’s performances at numerous venues in Germany, Greece, Spain, China, Netherlands, Portugal, Thailand, Turkey, Switzerland, Japan. As a guest conductor, he has collaborated with orchestras of Lithuania, China, Czech Republic, Japan, and Egypt.
