Tatiana Petrova graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music where she had studied under the People’s Artist of Belarus, Professor Irina Shikunova. With the academy studio, she performed the roles of Micaëla in Georges Bizet’s Carmen, Violetta in La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, Cio-Cio-San in Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.
She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2014.
Tatiana Petrova regularly gives recitals in Belarus and abroad. She often performs with the symphony orchestras of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society and the Belteleradiocompany, the State Chamber Chorus, and the State Chorus of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2022, she presented a recital programme of Richard Strauss’ vocal music “A Rope over an Abyss” at the Larisa Aleksandrovskaya Chamber Hall

The singer’s concert repertoire comprises art songs and solo parts in cantatas and oratorios, including Album by Valery Gavrilin, From Jewish Folk Poetry by Dmitri Shostakovich, Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi, Johannes Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, Symphony No.9 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, George Handel’s Messiah; Magnificat, The St. Matthew Passion, The St John Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach, etc.
She has toured with a number of ensembles and orchestras, including the Kaliningrad Chamber Orchestra (Russia), Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra (Bulgaria), Saratov Philharmonic Orchestra (Russia), Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra (Ukraine), and the Chişinău Philharmonic Orchestra (Moldova).
