  • Second prize at the 4th Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition (2017)
  • Third prize at the Competizione dell`Opera (Austria, Linz, 2015)
  • Third prize at the 6th International Competition of Opera Singers «St Petersburg» (2013)


Maria Galkina received her degree from the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory where she had studied under the People’s Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva. She completed a postgraduate course at the same conservatory.

She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2018.
