People’s Artist of Belarus (1992)
Tatyana Ershova was born in Riga. She’s a graduate of Riga Choreographic School. She is a laureate of international ballet contests in Varna (1974) and Moscow (1977).
From 1971 to 1976 she was a soloist at the Latvian State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Riga.
From 1976 to 1995 Ershova was a principal soloist of the ballet company of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
Since 1990 she has been a teacher and répétiteur of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
In 1992 Tatyana was awarded a certificate of the 1st Sergei Diaghilev International Competition of Young Ballet Dancers in Moscow as the best teacher and répétiteur.
Her repertoire with the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus included Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Masha in The Nutcracker, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, Phrygia in Spartacus, Carmen in Carmen Suite, Nele in Till Eulenspiegel, the title roles in La Sylphide and Ondine, Lise in Lise and Colas (La Fille mal gardée), Magnolia in Cipollino, etc.
