People’s Artist of Belarus (2014)

Kanstantsin Kuzniatsou is a graduate of the Belarusian State Choreographic College (1992, A.I. Kolyadenko’s class) and the Belarusian State Academy of Music (2005). He joined the ballet company of the Belarusian State Musical Theatre in 1992. Since 2007, he has danced with the company of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.

His repertoire also includes choreographic miniatures, such as Le spectre de la rose (Radu Poklitaru’s choreography), The World Does Not End at One’s House Door (Radu Poklitaru’s choreography), Adagio (Radu Poklitaru’s choreography), Tarantella (choreography by George Balanchine), etc.

Kanstantsin Kuzniatsou’s repertoire with the State Musical Theatre included leading roles in Don Quixote, Walpurgis Night, Giselle, In pivo veritas, Carmen Suite, Mephisto, The Tale of a Sleeping Princess, Chopiniana, Scheherazade, etc.

As a ballet-master and répétiteur, he was engaged in Jiří Kylián’s Sechs Tänze, as well as productions of the operas Carmen by Georges Bizet (2015), Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi (2016), La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi (2017).

He choreographed and staged one-act ballets Waiting Room (2012) and Who Am I? (2015) for the Small Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.


CONCERT TOUR

He has danced with the Norway National Ballet (Oslo), Huston Ballet (USA), United Dance Company (Paris), Russian Chamber Moscow Ballet (Russia), ballet company of the National Opera of Ukraine (Kyiv). He has toured Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, France, Germany, Japan, Moldova, etc.
