Liudmila Khitrova was born in Kazakhstan. She graduated from Nizhny Novgorod Theatre School in 2006. In 2015, she received an education in cultural managing and art producing at the Shirokov's Institute of Contemporary Knowledge (Minsk).

From 2005 to 2008, she danced at the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre. In October 2008, Liudmila Khitrova joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

In 2014, the ballerina won the Grand Prize at the 4th International Ballet Competition in Istanbul. Bright talent, fluency in classical dance techniques, sculptural plasticity, purity of movements allow her to perform almost all the roles of the classical and modern repertoire. Over the past seasons, Liudmila Khitrova performed the leading roles in all premiere productions on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

Lyudmila Khitrova represents the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus at significant events of the national and international importance. In 2023, she was awarded the Gratitude of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.

CONCERT TOUR

Lyudmila Khitrova actively tours with the company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus (the UK, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Egypt, Germany, Spain, Ireland, France).

In 2016, she performed the role of Anna in the national ballet Vitaut by Vyacheslav Kuznetsov (staged by Yury Trayan) on the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia within the Days of Culture of Belarus in Russia.

In 2016, she participated in the Silk Road International Festival, performing the role of Maria in Boris Asafiev's The Fountain of Bakhchisarai at the Astana Opera (Kazakhstan). In the same year, she appeared as Odette/Odile in Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 2019, she performed at the Rudolf Nureyev International Classic Ballet Festival in Kazan in the title role of Gavrilin's Anyuta.

In October 2022, she toured with the company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. Within the Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance & Music, she performed the lead roles in Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker (Masha) and The Sleeping Beauty (Princess Aurora).

On 16 November 2022, she appeared as Kitri in Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus within the 5th International Silk Road Festival in Astana Opera (Kazakhstan).

In February 2023, she took part in the project "Ball of Fairy Tales" featuring ballet stars on the stage of the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall in St Petersburg (Russia). In April 2023, she performed the role of Phrygia in Aram Khachaturian’s Spartacus at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre in Uzbekistan.

In April 2023, she performed in the gala concert “Stars of St Petersburg Ballet” on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus within the festival "Dance Open".

In May-June 2023 within the tour of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen she appeared in the title role in Anna Karenina to Pyotr Tchaikovsky's music.

On 14 July 2023, she took part in a concert of choreographic art “Dance Inspiration” within the Union State Day at the 19th International Arts Festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” (Vitebsk Concert Hall).
