Elena Zolova graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2008 where she had studied under the People’s Artist of Belarus, Associate Professor Irina Shikunova. In 2009, she received a master’s degree from the Academy where she had trained under the supervision of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Viktor Skorobogatov.
She participated in masterclasses in baroque music given by Francis Hammer (Austria, 2005), in opera dramaturgy given by Dragomir Nenov (Bulgaria, 2006) and in vocal given by Alexandrina Milcheva (Bulgaria, 2006).
She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2008.
Elena Zolova regularly performs throughout Belarus and abroad – in Russia, Italy, China, Latvia, Bulgaria, etc. Her recent international appearances include, among others, Violetta in La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi in the Rostov State Musical Theatre, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the Latvian National Opera, Ksenia in Modest Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov at the 5th edition of the opera festival "Opera Without Borders" (Krasnodar, Russia, May 2022).
In October 2022, she performed the role of Nadzeya Yanouskaya in a guest performance of King Stakh’s Wild Hunt by the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus on the historic stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
