Second prize at the 4th Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition (2017)

Maria Galkina received her degree from the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory where she had studied under the People’s Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva. She completed a postgraduate course at the same conservatory.
She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2018.
Since 2021, she has been collaborating with the Imperial Orchestra St Petersburg.
On 20 September 2023, she took part in the international project "Trinity: Tchaikovsky-Prokofiev-Glebov", supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives (Russian Federation). As part of the project, together with the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the honoured song and dance ensemble Donbass and Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Natalia Narozhnaya, she gave a master class for students of the Republican Music College in Izhevsk, Udmurtia. Maria Galkina’s work received an enthusiastic welcome, numerous positive reviews from professionals and gratitude from the college. She was awarded a commendation from the Ministry of Culture of the Udmurt Republic for the aforementioned project.
In August 2024, she took part in the 4th International Festival of Classical Art “Caspian Seasons” at Astrakhan State Philharmonic Hall, presenting Belarusian art at the concert “The Day of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
