Kirill Panfilov was born in Kazan, Russia. He graduated in voice from the Academic Music College of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor Boris Kudryavtsev, 2015) and from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor Alexander Voroshilo, 2021). After graduating from the conservatory, he mastered his skills with the vocal coach, Associate Professor Inna Glinskaya (Voitik). He completed an assistantship programme at the Accademia d'arte lirica di Osimo (Italy, Osimo, 2019).
He has collaborated with the Academy of Russian Music Chamber Orchestra conducted by Ivan Nikiforchin.
In 2016, he joined the Alexander Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army.
In 2022, he started his collaborations with the Piotr Borisenko Musical Company (Moscow).
In 2023, he became a soloist with the Opera Theatre of the Moscow Conservatory, where his repertoire included Schaunard, Marcello in La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, Germont in La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, the title role in Eugene Onegin and Robert in Iolanta by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Edwin in Die Csárdásfürstin by Emmerich Kálmán, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini, Malatesta in Francesca da Rimini by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Salieri in Mozart and Salieri and Gryaznoy in The Tsar's Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. His chamber music repertoire is vast and includes romances and songs by Mikhail Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Francesco Paolo Tosti, Gustav Mahler, Georgy Sviridov.
He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2025.
Kirill Panfilov is a participant in a number of international festivals, including the International Festival “Grand Opera Gala” (Sukhum, Republic of Abkhazia, 2019), "Rosa Khutor. Classics" (Sochi, Russia, 2024), International Festival of Contemporary Chamber Opera of Women Composers "Muffled Voices" (2024), where he performed the main role of Pa in the continental premiere of the opera Proving Up by Missy Mazzoli on the stages of the Helikon-Opera Moscow and the Eifman Ballet Theatre St Petersburg.
