Klavdiya Potemkina graduated from the Tattimbet College of Arts in Karaganda in 2000 where she had majored in choral conducting, followed by her graduation from the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory in opera singing with BMus (distinction, 2005) and PhD (2008) degrees. 

From 2009 to 2016, she was a soloist of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Klavdiya Potemkina joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2017.

From 2015-17, she took part in concerts dedicated to national celebrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in charity concerts and balls marking the opening of children’s hospices in Belarus. She sang in the concert marking the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev’s inauguration,

In 2021, she presented the concert programme “Spring Waltz” as part of celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

CONCERT TOUR

From 2016-17, she took part in concerts dedicated to national celebrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in charity concerts and balls marking the opening of children’s hospices in Belarus. She sang in the concert celebrating the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev’s inauguration, as well as in galas marking national celebrations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
