PARTNERS OF THE PROJECT
On 17, 18 and 19 June, the Bolshoi invites the audience to the magical evenings in Nesvizh for the 12th time. The residence of the Radziwill family has long been a second home for the Belarusian theatre and the main summer open-air venue. Ballet, opera, chorus and orchestra artists leave the theatre to bring the guests of the ancient Nesvizh castle the happiness of meeting with the masterpieces of world opera and ballet classics.
On June 17 (Friday) at 21:00, Boris Asafiev's The Fountain of Bakhchisarai based on the poem of the same title by Alexander Pushkin will open the festival. This is a kind of poetic story about love and jealousy, passion and cruelty. Nikolai Koliadko will conduct.
On 18 June at 20:00, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus will take place in the courtyard of the Radziwill Castle. In the rhythms of waltz, polka and csárdás, we will understand the challenges of family life. Aleh Lessoun will conduct.
On June 19 (Sunday) at 19:30, the gala concert "Castle amusements in Nesvizh" will take place. The production team is headed by Anna Motornaya. Mikhail Sinkevich will conduct.
Of course, we plan to perform concert programmes in the theatre (so-called white) hall of the castle. On 17 June at 13:00 and 16:00, the Belarusian music will sound here. First, the tenor Dmitry Shabetya (accompanied by Yuliya Shcherbakova) will present his new programme "Belarusian Premieres". Then the director Galina Galkovskaya (accompanied by Irina Telepneva) will present her theatrical show featuring the leading soloists of the opera "Amid the Clamor of a Ball".
On 18 June at 13:00, our viewers will see the programme "Musical Legends of the Ancient Castle" (accompanied by Anastasia Dubovskaya). It is a musical tour of the ancient castle, where portraits, sculptures and ancient legends will come to life, where the audience will be immersed in the atmosphere of mystery, riddles, miracle and magic from the very first note. On the same day at 15:30 we will hear Soviet hits in the concert "Songs of a Big Country" performed by the string quintet "Serenada" and opera soloists of the theatre.
On the last day of the festival at 12:00, we are waiting for the audience in the theatre hall. The string quartet "Vivat-quartet!" will open the "Musical Treasury of Nesvizh ". And at 15:00 "A. M. A. D. I. S. Brass" will perform the programme "Nesvizh Cocktail".
