Yuliya Shcherbakova graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2001. Since 2002, she has been on the music staff of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
For many years, Yuliya Shcherbakova has been a senior accompanist for most opera productions.
Along with playing in classes and rehearsals of current and new operatic repertoire, she regularly prepares chamber programmes with opera soloists, and also performs in the theatre's chamber instrumental programmes.
Yuliya Shcherbakova's artistic baggage includes recitals of leading opera soloists, including the People's Artists of Belarus Anastasia Moskvina, Nina Scharubina, Honoured Artists of the Republic of Belarus Oksana Volkova, Elena Shvedova, etc. The accompanist coaches soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus for performances at major theatres throughout the world (Oksana Volkova, Anastasia Moskvina, etc.).
She participates in all significant events of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, including big international projects, social and image-building events.
She is a senior rehearsal accompanist for the following productions:
The pianist's concert repertoire is wide and stylistically diverse; she performs in both academic and popular programmes.
With opera soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, Yuliya Shcherbakova has presented national art during tours in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Russia, China, etc.
