The audience applauded the artists for at least 10 minutes. And when Valentin Elizariev took the curtain, the audience exploded with loud applause again. That's how people met the premiere of the new version of the legendary ballet. On 8 December Andrey Petrov's music was played again on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre and the "World", which was created by choreographer Valentin Elizariev and designer Eugene Lysik in 1976, came to life.
On 8 December the performance featured the People's Artist of Belarus Irina Eromkina as Eva, Honoured Artists of the Republic Konstantin Geronik as Adam and Anton Kravchenko as God, principal dancer Ivan Savenkov as Devil. On 10 December the lead roles will be performed by the Honoured Artists Liudmila Khitrova (Eva), Oleg Eromkin (Adam) and principal dancers Takatoshi Machiyama (Devil) and Egor Azarkevich (God). Two evenings in a row the musical director of the new version maestro Vyacheslav Chernukho-Volich will conduct.
