Jubilee of the Legendary Ballerina

She received the title of People's Artist of Belarus when she was 29 years old. The famous Italian director Franco Zeffirelli admired her. She trained in St Petersburg under Vaganova’s student Natalia Dudinskaya. People compare her with the Hollywood star Audrey Hepburn. It was a pleasure for painters to draw her portrait, and she has been creating her own paintings since her youth – landscape drawings, sketches on the theme of ballet, flowers were her special inspiration… She was the first to perform the parts of Carmen, Eve, Nele, Phrygia, Masha, and the Beloved in Carmen Suite, The Creation of the World, Till Eulenspiegel, Spartacus, The Nutcracker, Carmina Burana respectively, staged by Valentin Elizariev.

The audience almost all over the world applauded her, people admired her, she was idolized... On 4 June, the People's Artist of Belarus, legendary ballerina and ballet master and répétiteur of the Bolshoi Theatre Lyudmila Brzhozovskaya will celebrate jubilee.
