On 2 March, we invite our viewers, who have already purchased tickets to Aram Khachaturian's Spartacus, to come a little earlier. At 18:10, the premiere of the book will take place in the Chamber Hall. Just like that - in a theatrical way! The author Inessa Pleskachevskaya will present her new book The Phenomenon of Valentin Elizariev to the admirers of the famous Belarusian choreographer. A lot of photos (both of the maestro himself and scenes from his performances); interviews with famous and favorite ballet dancers, composers, choreographers, and of course honest and as frank as possible conversation with Elizariev himself. All this is on the pages of this beautiful publication.
In anticipation of the book premiere, we announced a contest and proposed our viewers to continue the phrase: ‘I love Elizariev’s ballets, because...’
We have received a lot of letters. But the winners, according to the choreographer and author of the book, were: Lyudmila Lobach and Ekaterina Borodko.
‘I love Elizariev’s ballets, because I am in harmony with what I see and hear,’ Lyudmila wrote. Elizariev liked this laconic style very much. And Inessa Pleskachevskaya chose Ekaterina's reply: ‘Elizariev is the Universe. Beautiful and incredibly rich universe, which creates masterpieces with its own style and charisma, brings harmony and inspiration… Joy fills my heart, because I can watch his genius works from childhood...’
On 2 March Lyudmila Lobach and Ekaterina Borodko will receive the first copies of the book The Phenomenon of Valentin Elizariev from the hands of the author and master. They will also receive invitations (for 2 persons) to Spartacus.
It is planned that this evening Inessa Pleskachevskaya's "co–authors" and artists, whose interviews you can read on the pages of the book, will come to the Chamber Hall. Of course, Valentin Elizariev and Inessa Pleskachevskaya will sign autographs for everyone.
