One of Charles Perrault's most famous and beloved fairy tales, about a hardworking girl who, despite everything, managed to find her true love, inspired composers of different times to create their works. Perhaps one of the most famous operas belongs to the genius Gioacchino Rossini. If we are talking about the ballet Cinderella, then since the middle of the XIX century, many composers have addressed this magical theme. The Spaniard Fernando Sor was the first one.

In the 1940s, the parable of kindness and cordiality, which must be rewarded, inspired the Russian genius Sergey Prokofiev. Belarusian ballet stars Lyudmila Brzhozovskaya, Nina Davydenko, Alevtina Korzenkova, Klara Malysheva, Lidia Ryazhenova, Valery Mironov, Vladimir Glinskikh, Yury Trayan and others appeared in the leading roles.
