Victor Mendelev graduated from the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov State Music College in Mogilev where he had principally studied chorus conducting.

 In 2015, he graduated in voice from the Belarusian State Academy of Music where he had studied under the tutelage of the People’s Artist of Belarus, Professor Pyotr Ridiger.

 He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2012.

His international appearances include, among others, Alfredo in Giuseppe Verdi’s La traviata with Kaunas State Musical Theatre, a gala concert of the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Astana (2014), the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques gala in Montreal (2016), Vaudémont in Iolanta during the company’s French tour (2018).

In October 2022, he performed the role of Berman in King Stakh’s Wild Hunt, a guest performance the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus on the Historic Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
