Sergey Lazarevich graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2003 (class of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus M. Zdanevich). His roles with the academy’s opera studio included Fiorello in Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini, Yamadori in Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini, the title role in Sergey Rachmaninov’s Aleko.

He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2003.
