Andrei Raranski

Andrei Raranski is a graduate in music from the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University. In 1990, he started his pianist career at the Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium-College, where we worked with senior and graduate students accompanying leading teachers of all specialization subjects. He accompanied masterclasses of a number of eminent world-famous choreography teachers, and took part in Belarusian-Japanese and Belarusian-French ballet tours. During his work at the college, he was a senior accompanist for the college productions and musical director of all final year concerts. For more than 15 years, he chaired the cycle commission of accompanists.

Since 2009, he has been on the music staff of the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

He served as a senior rehearsal accompanist for the production of the ballet Illusions of Love to the music by Dmitri Shostakovich, Frédéric Chopin and Leonid Shirin (2023), and compiled its score according to the choreographer Igor Kolb's concept. He was as an assistant to the musical director and a senior rehearsal accompanist for the production of Igor Kolb's DANSES Evening of One-Act Ballets: Boléro. Danse macabre. Carmen to the music of Maurice Ravel, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Georges Bizet (2025).


CONCERT TOUR

As a ballet pianist and a sound engineer, he has toured extensively in Belarus and abroad.
