Ekaterina Oleynik was born in Minsk. She graduated from the Belarusian State Choreographic College (Olga Lappo’s Class). Oleynik joined the ballet company of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus in 2007.
In 2005 she took part in the third Ballet Summer Festival (Krakow) and in 2006 in the Festival of Choreographic Schools in Kazan. In 2004 as a student of the Choreographic College she participated in the tour to Cyprus.
In 2011 she was awarded a special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus for eminent figures of culture and art.

As a guest dancer, she has appeared at the Musa Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, has danced with the Imperial Russian Ballet Company headed by Gediminas Taranda, Washington Ballet, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, etc. She regularly works with the Estonian National Opera, where she has performed a number of performances from classical and modern repertoire.
