Anna Fokina was born in Minsk. She graduated from the Belarusian State Choreographic College. In 2002, she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (Nikita Dolgushin’s studio) where she had majored in ballet directing and teaching.
From 1996 to 2002, Fokina was a soloist of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of St. Petersburg Conservatory. In 2002, she joined the Mussorgsky Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Mikhailovsky Theatre) in St. Petersburg.
Anna Fokina joined the ballet company of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus in 2008.
