Tatyana Gavrilova graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music where she had majored in piano and voice (class of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Lyudmila Kolos).

She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2004.

Apart from rich operatic repertoire, she sings a vast concert repertoire, spanning Baroque music, modern pieces, etc.

Tatyana Gavrilova collaborates with the Chamber Soloists of Minsk orchestra under the baton of Dmitry Zubov, with which she performs pieces of the baroque classical periods, including St John Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach and Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Idomeneo by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (concert version, the role of Elettra), Joseph Haydn’s oratorio The Seasons (the role of Hanne), and others, as well as little-known pieces of old and modern music presented for the first time in Belarus.

She works with a number of Belarusian orchestras, including the State Academic Symphony Orchestra, Capella Academia, etc., and chamber orchestras (a series of concerts with the ensemble Partita in Belarus).

Tatyana Gavrilova’s recitals include "French and Spanish Chamber Music" accompanied by Zhanna Varlamova in the Grigory Shirma Small Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society in April 2017, "French and Spanish Chamber Music" and "Letters from an Unknown Woman" accompanied by orchestra soloists and pianist Zhanna Varlamova in the Larisa Aleksandrovskaya Chamber Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, Franz Schubert’s Winterreise accompanied by Olga Zapolskaya in February 2018, "Music Without Borders" opposite the Dutch mezzo-soprano Ruth Willemse accompanied by Vitaly Stakhevich in 2019 (the programme included vocal music by Richard Wagner, Franz Schubert, George Frideric Handel, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, as well as art songs by contemporary composer G. Sosnovsky).

CONCERT TOUR

In 2013, Tatyana Gavrilova appeared as a guest soloist in performances of the Musa Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre in the Netherlands

In 2014, she did a recital at the small hall of St Petersburg State Philharmonic. Later the same year, she appeared as Cio-Cio San in a performance of Madama Butterfly at the Estonian National Opera. At the invitation of Sadriddin Ayni Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dushanbe, she sang the part of Violetta in La traviata.

With the orchestra Young Belarus, Tatyana Gavrilova toured Germany and participated in the Chamber Music Festival in Italy.

At the invitation of the Azerbaijani Opera and Ballet Theatre, she performed the role of Gilda in Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto (Baku, 2017).

She has been on tour in Germany as a member of the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
