Yanosh Nelepa graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 1998. The following year, he received his master’s degree in voice from the same academy (class of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Leonid Ivashkov).
He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 1997.
Yanosh Nelepa has performed a number of cantatas and oratorios abroad, including Orff’s Carmina Burana, Great Mass in C minor by Mozart, Haydn’s Harmoniemesse with Belarusian orchestras in Germany; Bach’s St John Passion, Mozart’s Requiem, Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the State Symphony Orchestra of Kaliningrad and other ensembles in Spain, etc.
With The Russian Song ensemble of vocalists, he gave concerts in Austria and Germany in 2016 and 2017, and Estonia.
With the Belarusian opera company, he has toured Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
