Victor Mendelev graduated from the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov State Music College in Mogilev where he had principally studied chorus conducting.
In 2015, he graduated in voice from the Belarusian State Academy of Music where he had studied under the tutelage of the People’s Artist of Belarus, Professor Pyotr Rigider.
He joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 2012.
In 2017, Victor Mendelev was awarded incentive prize of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for Support of Talented Youth
