Stanislav Trifonov graduated from the Mikhail Glinka Minsk Music College where he had studied under the Honoured Worker of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Аdam Murzich. In 1998, he graduated from Odessa State Conservatoire (class of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine Viktor Navrotsky), followed by the completion of the assistantship programme at the same conservatoire in 2001. 

In 1997 he joined the opera company of Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theatre.  
He has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus since 2007.

Stanislav Trifonov is a laureate of the 4th edition of the National Theatre Prize in the category “Best Male Role in a Performance of Opera” for his Grigory Gryaznoy in The Tsar’s Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

He often collaborates with the Tatar National Opera. In 2012, he appeared at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia in a performance of Lucia di Lammermoor given as part of the Golden Mask Festival and later took part in the company’s Dutch tour. His other international engagements include the Feodor Chaliapin International Opera Festival in 2012, festival “Faces of Love” in Samara in 2014, the role of Scarpia with Samara Musical Theatre, High Priest in Camille Saint-Saëns’s Samson et Dalila in Sofia in 2014, etc.  Stanislav Trifonov regularly participates in opera festivals and concerts, including Vladimir Spivakov Invites Festival (Minsk, 2014), concerts of the string quintet Serenada, governmental concerts, and concerts of the Award Ceremony “For Spiritual Revival” (2013 and 2015), etc. 

Stanislav Trifonov is a winner of the 3^rd edition of the National Theatre Prize in the category “Best Male Role in a Performance of Opera” for his Dutchman in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer (2014). He has toured Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the UK, Spain, the USA, Columbia, and the Netherlands.
