The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus continues its series of educational programmes for young people. On 24 November, the meeting of the leaders and artists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus took place with the students of the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
On 24 November, the spokesperson for the ‘Art vision’ meeting with the students of the Pedagogical University was the Deputy Director for International Relations, Tours and Marketing Svetlana Kaziulina. She told about the peculiarities of working with the audience of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, including the youth sharing the implementation of modern strategies of working with clients and, in particular, the modernization of the website, creating newsletters, social networks, etc.
Svetlana emphasized the fact that the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus continues its work in supporting the talented youth of the theatre by establishing special awards and grants for the young artists. The deputy director shared with the students of the University the upcoming plans of the theater and talked about its large-scale projects like the International Christmas Singing competition and Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum, the upcoming premiers and international cooperation of the theatre with the largest theatre companies of Europe and CIS countries.
The youth of the theatre, musicians of the ensemble "AMADIS.BRASS" with the head of the orchestra Dmitry Gorbachuk, and the artists of the orchestra Alexander Antanovich, Pavel Kunz, Andrei Mikhalevich, Viktor Arenovski and Mikhail Konstantinov performed in front of the students. They told about the history of the foundation of the band, the creative achievements of the musicians and the participation of ‘AMADIS.BRASS’ in creative projects of the theatre. At the end of the event, the ensemble performed popular the works of foreign composers.
During the ‘Art vision’ meeting, the People's Artist of Belarus Nina Sharubina shared about her work at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, and answered the questions of the students of the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
On 20 October, the artists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus took part in the master class ‘International cultural relations in the sphere of modern operatic music’, which was organized by our theatre in collaboration with the Department of Intercultural Communications of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
