During the magical season of Christmas and the New Year the Belarusian artists will present a gift of true fete, a fairy tale and miracle to the people of Germany and Austria. It is for the 6th time that the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus goes on a tour in these countries. From 9 December to 18 January, the largest theatre venues in Bonn and Bremen, Hamburg and Cologne, Berlin and Hanover, Munich and Dortmund, Salzburg and Vienna will see the legendary ballet by Pyotr Tchaikovsky Swan Lake and the Nutcracker, or Another Christmas story.
‘We always try to stay focused on our job during the tour – it is a part of our profession, – shares People's Artist of Belarus Yury Troyan, the Artistic Director of the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi of Belarus.– Long journeys, almost every day performances, different yet at the same time quite responsible theatrical venues – one shouldn’t feed the illusions: the tour is a hard massive work. But our capability has been well known. The fact that we have been invited for the 6th time speaks for itself meaning that the European audience loves us. I hope once again a warm welcome awaits us. But as I see it, this will happen only on one and the only condition: if we dance the best we can'.
