The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus continues its series of educational programmes for young people. On 23 February, the meeting of the management and artists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus with the students of the Belarusian State Economic University took place.
The Deputy Director for International Relations, Tours and Marketing Svetlana Kaziulina spoke at the meeting with the students of the Belarusian State Economic University. She talked about the peculiarities of the work of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus with its customers, including young audience; the use of modern technologies and other resources in advertising, etc.
The Deputy Director shared with the students of the University the closest creative plans of the theatre and talked about its large-scale projects including the Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition and the Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum, the upcoming premieres and international cooperation of the theatre with the largest theatre companies of European and CIS countries.
Young artists of the theatre, the musicians of the ensemble ‘AMADIS.BRASS’ lead by the head of the theatre’s orchestra Dmitry Gorbachuk and the artists of the orchestra Alexander Antanovich, Pavel Kunz, Andrei Mikhalevich, Viktor Arenovski and Mikhail Konstantinov, performed before the students of the University. The little concert featured the popular works by classical and contemporary composers.
The principal ballet dancers of the Bolshoi, the People's Artist of Belarus Olga Gaiko and the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus Yury Kovalev answered the questions of the students of the Belarusian State Economic University, sharing interesting facts about the profession of a ballet dancer.
The winners of the quiz received an invitation to the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
