‘It’s the fourth time the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus opens its doors for young talented singers who come to the Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition from different countries.

Our competition is relatively young, but we are pleased and proud to state that it has become a strong impetus for artistic growth and professional development of its winners and participants, and has given them confidence in themselves.

Only our competition provides the finalists with a rare opportunity to appear opposite leading opera artists and to perform an ensemble scene from an opera in the third round, showcasing their vocal talent, acting skills, as well as their sense of stage.

The high status of the Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition is evidenced by the respectable international jury comprising directors of opera houses and international organizations, eminent musicians, and promoters.

The Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition brings the days of unforgettable communication, new contacts, friendly creative support not only of the colleagues, but also of the entire staff of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus that lives and breathes this event on throughout. Every competitor becomes a part of our big theatrical family!

I wish all the competitors inspiration and luck!

We look forward to seeing you at the 4th Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition!’
