The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus represented by the General Director Vladimir Gridiushko and Lodz Grand Theatre represented by the General Director Dariusz Stachura signed the Memorandum with the intention to increase cultural exchange in the sphere of musical art, theatrical and production work, joint organization and implementation of international and creative shares etc.
This Memorandum provides:
-organization of guest performances of both Parties;
-exchange of soloists and of mastery staffs;
-joint creative projects in realization of ballet and opera performances;
-holding master-classes of the leading specialists of both theatrical entertainment establishments;
-participation in musical competitions and festivals;
-collaboration in the sphere of exchanging specialists;
-favourable exchange of information with the major events in musical and theatrical live of both countries.
Teatr Wielki w Łodzi (Lodz Grand Theatre) is the second largest opera house in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. The auditorium of the theater seats 1070 people. The repertoire includes works by classical and contemporary composers.
