Sulimsky. Threefold Attack

 

In February, you can see three performances staring the soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Vladislav Sulimsky at the Bolshoi.

On 15 February, Sulimsky will appear as Tomsky in Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades. Ivan Kostyakhin will conduct.

On 17 February, he will perform the role of Gryaznoy in another Russian opera The Tsar's Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. He will sing this role on the Belarusian stage for the first time.

This evening, the performance will feature Elena Zolova as Marfa, Aksana Yakushevich as Lyubasha, Andrei Valentii as Sobakin, Oleg Melnikov as Skuratov, Alexander Gelakh as Lykov, Andrei Matyushonok as Bomelius, Olga Malinouskaya as Saburova, Elena Salo as Dunyasha. Nikolai Koliadko will conduct.

On 20 February, Vladislav Sulimsky will appear at the Bolshoi in the role of Valentine (to consolidate his past success). It was in Minsk, within the Christmas Opera Forum, the singer made his debut in this role in Gounod's Faust. As always, Vladislav simply delighted the audience with his acting skills. It was impossible not to believe him.

On Sunday, the leading roles in Anna Motornaya’s production will perform Sergey Frankovsky as Dr Faust, Yuri Gorodetski as Young Faust, Andrei Valentii as Méphistophélès, Tatyana Gavrilova as Marguerite, Ekaterina Mikhnovets as Marthe, Victor Mendelev as Siébel, Sergey Lazarevich as Wagner. Vladimir Ovodok will conduct.
