Urszula's Summer Ball in Nesvizh







On 19 June, the final gala concert of operaand ballet stars of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Nesvizh will turn into a real summer ball of Urszula Radziwiłł. The director of this concert Galina Galkovskaya (recipient of Francysk Skaryna Medal) invites everyone to the music and dance festival. ‘It will be an evening filled with beautiful music, interesting choreography, and also with real feelings and emotions that our talented artists will give to the audience,’ Galina Galkovskaya said. We are sure that our audience will remember this Sunday's theatrical and musical evening, because they will be guests of the ball of Urszula Radziwiłł (the founder of the Belarusian theatre) and her husband Michał Kazimierz.


Ballet dancers we perform solemn polonaise from The Fountain of Bakhchisarai, cheerful mazurka and Spanish dance from Swan Lake. Opera soloists the People's Artists of Belarus Nina Sharubina and Vladimir Gromov, Honoured Artist of the Republic Elena Bundeleva, Tatiana Petrova, Maria Galkina, Olga Malinouskaya, Elena Zolova, Dmitry Shabetya, Alexander Mikhniuk, Alexander Gelakh, Andrey Selutin, Yury Bolotko, Dmitry Kapilov, Dzianis Yantsevich, Andrei Matyushonok will perform the most famous arias and duets from operas. The People's Artists of Belarus Irina Eromkina, Igor Artamonov, Honoured Artists of the Republic Maryna Vezhnavets, Liudmila Khitrova, Anton Kravchenko, Yury Kavaliou, Oleg Eromkin will shine in pieces from The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, La Esmeralda by Cesare Pugni and etc. Of course, Belarusian music by Vladimir Soltan and Stanisław Moniuszko will be also performed in the residence of the powerful magnate family of Belarus.
