YOUNG VOICES OF WORLD OPERA

On 19 December the 5th Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition will end with the gala concert “Young Voices of World Opera” on the main stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

In the third round, 10 finalists, who have successfully passed 1st and 2nd rounds, will compete for the main prizes of the competition. The 3rd round will be held with orchestral accompaniment on the main stage. The finalists of the Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition will be provided with a rare opportunity to appear opposite leading opera soloists and to perform an ensemble scene from an opera, showcasing their vocal talent, acting skills, as well as their sense of stage to the international jury and the audience.

The third part of the concert will feature artists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, as well as guest soloists Anne-Sophie Vincent (France), Hye Myung Kang (Korea) and Suzanne Taffot (Canada).

Witness the birth of new world opera stars and vote for the winner of the audience prize on 19 December at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus!

People’s Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Anisimov and Recipient of the Francysk Skaryna Medal Vyacheslav Chernukho-Volich will conduct.
