PARTNERS OF THE PROJECT
For the first time, the artists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will perform in the Portrait Hall of the Mir Castle. The "scenery" for the concert will be paintings – images of the owners of the castle – from the Iliniches to the Radziwills and Wittgensteins.
The concert will feature famous opera arias and duets and "hits" from musicals: Barcarolle from The Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach, the duet of Papagen and Papageno from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Habanera from Bizet's Carmen, Clara's Lullaby from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, Eliza's song from My Fair Lady by Frederick Loewe, Sou-Chong's aria from Das Land des Lächelns by Franz Lehár. Artists of the Bolshoi Theatere will perform popular pop and jazz works by Gross, Bixio, Sinatra, Tsfasman, Howard, etc.
