First prize at the International Competition of Vocal Chamber Music Amber Nightingale (Kaliningrad, 1996)

Ekaterina Golovleva is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (Professor Bela Rudenko’s class).

She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia in 1995. In 2010, she has been a soloist of the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.

Ekaterina Golovleva appeared as Abigaille at the Pyotr Tchaikovsky Concert Hall (concert version, conductor Vladimir Andropov) in 2004 and at the Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (concert version, conductor Marco Boemi) in 2006.

Ekaterina Golovleva sang the world premiere of Raven, the suite for symphony orchestra and mezzo-soprano by Mikis Theodorakis (conductor Mikis Theodorakis, 1996), the Valeria Barsova and Maria Maksakova International Vocal Festival (Russia, Astrakhan, 2000).

She has toured Russia, Morocco, Jordan, and performed in concerts in Germany.
