Favourite songs and soundtracks from popular Soviet films will be performed on February 15 in the Chamber Hall of the theatre.
‘The idea of this concert sprang from a popular New Year’s Soviet TV Show "Blue light". The viewers who have come at least once to a concert in the Chamber Hall suggested that we should have more of such projects. These songs, you know, are very popular, and the audience gladly sings along with the artists. The house is invariably full every time, which is very pleasing,’ shares the director Elena Medyakova. ‘But we decided to go a little further and to develop this theme. The Tzar from a comedy Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession will travel together with our audience through the movies of the Soviet era, meeting different characters and getting to know the atmosphere of those times thanks to the melodies and songs’.
