Three days – ten performances. Almost all the artistic companies of the theatre go to Nesvizh to bring the audience the joy of meeting with real art. Opera, ballet, concerts... This year the programme of the forum is really unique: the audience will see the premieres of this season ... The "main" hall (in the courtyard of the Nesvizh Castle) seats 1,040 spectators, Theatre Hall-110.

From 23 to 25 June, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus invites you again to spend three wonderful evenings at the Radziwill residence. The evenings will take place at the Belarusian Versailles for the 13th time.

On 23 June (Friday), the concert "Flutes on Vacation" will open the "Evenings of the Bolshoi Theatre in the Radziwill Castle". The concert will took place in the Theatre Hall of the castle (16:00). Bright, light, cheerful music will be performed by the Flutes Quartet of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus (Larisa Lasotskaya, Artem Nemirsky, Arsen Zamtaradze and Natalia Murzina). The programme will feature Mikhail Konstantinov (drums) and the recipient of the Francysk Skaryna medal Yulia Shcherbakova (piano).

 

In the evening (20:30), the courtyard of the Nesvizh Castle will turn into a sun-drenched Barcelona square, where fun reigns. Ludwig Minkus’ Don Quixote (a bright, incendiary premiere of this year), staged by the People's Artist of the USSR and Belarus, artistic director of the Bolshoi Theatre Valentin Elizariev, will be performed on the stage. The Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Koliadko will conduct.

 

 

On June 24 (Saturday), the Theatre Hall (12:00) will wait the admirers of the chamber genre. The leading soloists of the Belarusian opera will perform the brilliant Rachmaninov’s music in the concert "It Feels Good in Here..." (directed by Natalia Kuzmenkova). Maria Tokar will accompany.

 

Concert "Pearls of Sacred Music of the 19th and 20th Centuries" (directed by Natalia Kuzmenkova, accompanied by Yuliya Shcherbakova) will take place at the Church of Corpus Domini (14:00). The programme will feature our leading opera soloists and orchestra artists. Traditionally, the entrance to this concert is free.

The Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus Tatiana Tretiak together with the string quintet "Serenada" and leading opera soloists will perform a concert "The Land of Beautiful People" in the Theatre Hall of the castle (16:00).



 

In the evening (20:00), the premiere (a completely new production) of Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia. The Italian director Aldo Tarabella will stage the production, our conductor Vladimir Ovodok wil be the musical director.

Il Barbiere di Siviglia is perhaps the most famous composer's opera. Almost immediately after the first performances, Rossini received the title "Italian Mozart". Giuseppe Verdi was so impressed by the sound of Rossini's ‘...Barber’ that he repeatedly spoke of the opera as the best musical work in the genre of opera buffa. And Heinrich Heine called Rossini a "divine maestro", admiring the musical language of the Italian composer.



 

 

Sunday, on 25 June, we will start at 12:00. The brass quintet Diana Gontarenko (flute), Aliaksandr Papsuyev (oboe), Viktar Puzynia (clarinet), Andrey Guzeev (bassoon), Vitali Karaboukhin (French horn), as well as the leading opera soloists will "tell" Prokofiev's musical fairy tale for children and adults Peter and the Wolf in the Theatre Hall.  Yuliya Shcherbakova will accompany.

 

 


 

The concert "Viva l'Italia, viva l'amoge!..", which includes real Italian hits, will take place at 14:00. The music of passion and love will be performed by the instrumental trio "Gloria" (Nadzeya Senkevich-violin, Natallia Murzina-flute, Katsiaryna Akavitskaya-cello) and our opera soloists. Yuliya Shcherbakova will accompany.

 

 

 

 

 

"A.M.A.D.I.S. Brass" every time delight the audience who came to the Nesvizh castle. So on 25 June at 16:00, bright and talented artists will present to the public their programme in the Theatre Hall. This concert will also feature the leading opera soloists. Yuliya Shcherbakova will accompany.

 

 

 

The traditional festival of classical theatre art in Nesvizh will end with the Gala concert of opera and ballet stars (19:30). The programme includes famous opera arias and duets, bright choreo of ballet masterpieces, hits of the world musical heritage. Vladimir Ovodok and Nikolai Koliadko will conduct.
