Although the plot of Pushkin's The Queen of Spades did not really interest Tchaikovsky at first. But over time, this novel captured his imagination more and more. On 2 March, Tchaikovsky's mystical drama The Queen of Spades will be performed on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. The soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre (St. Petersburg) Mikhail Pirogov will appear in the role of Herman.
