Denis Klimukin the Role of Tybalt

He was born in Brest, but he gave more than 20 years to Minsk. First he studied at a choreographic college, then danced at the Belarusian Bolshoi. He served this stage for 12 seasons. Then the audience of Georgia, Estonia, and Russia applauded him. Now he is the leading soloist of the Saint-Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre. But even after leaving, he never left his native theatre: he became the prototype for Apollo’s figure in the sculptural ensemble that crowns the building of the Bolshoi - the sculptor Gennady Buralkin saw the beauty of the Greek sun god and patron of the arts in him. He admits that every time he returns to Minsk, he returns home.

On 19 January, the leading soloist of the Saint-Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre, Belarusian Denis Klimuk will perform the role of Tybalt in Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet staged by Valentin Elizariev.

It should be added that on 19 January the performance will feature Irina Eromkina as Juliet, Even Capitaine as Romeo, Konstantin Geronik as Mercutio, Kirill Furman as Lorenzo, Igor Artamonov as Paris, Taro Kurachi as Benvolio. Nikolai Koliadko will conduct.
