On 25, 26 and 27 June the Bolshoi invites the audience to the magical evenings in Nesvizh for the 11th time. The residence of the Radziwill family has long been a second home for the Belarusian theatre and the main open-air summer festival venue. Our ballet and opera stars, chorus artists and orchestra musicians leave their native theatre to give the guests of the ancient Nesvizh the joy of meeting with the masterpieces of world opera and ballet classics.

This time Nabucco will open the festival. On 25 June, the most beautiful Giuseppe Verdi’s opera will be performed under the arches of the ancient castle in concert version (director Galina Galkovskaya, conductor Aleh Lessoun, chorus master Nina Lomanovich). The Italian composer himself considered this work to be the beginning of his creative rise: he became very successful after Nabucco. Verdi was 28 years old. The composer's contemporaries recalled the general atmosphere at Teatro alla Scala during rehearsals: workers of the theatre stop their work and gather near the stage and behind it, listening to every word and beat, excitedly discussing each completed fragment. The grandiose crowd scenes, conflict of characters, emotional scenes of prayers, prophecies, and curses-Verdi's genius was most clearly revealed in Nabucco. The work remains topical and certainly inspiring today. On 25 June, the story of the Biblical times will come to life in Nesvizh.

On 26 June (Saturday), we will see "The Night of Metamorphosis" - an interesting musical project also by Galina Galkovskaya. It will be a really unexpected programme-not only in terms of stage action, but also in terms of musical material. We are preparing the firework of recognizable works by Bernstein, Webber, Galliano, Miller, Offenbach, Debussy, Stein, Mercury. The programme also includes arias and duets from the most famous and favorite musicals: The Phantom of the Opera, The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, Cats, etc. The whole constellation of favorite opera and ballet artists will appear in unusual roles. Maestro Aleh Lessoun will conduct.

We plan to show concerts not only in the courtyard of the castle, but also in the theatre hall. So, on 25 June, we will find ourselves not in the White Chamber Hall, but, for example, in the streets of Montmartre or the Champs-Elysees, where the songs of Edith Piaf, Mireille Mathieu, Joe Dassin sound. The concert "La Promenade" will be performed by opera soloists Elena Salo and Pavel Trofimik (accompanied by Tatiana Ivanova and directed by Natalia Kuzmenkova).

On 26 June, in the afternoon, the audience will see two completely different concerts. The opera soloists Yuri Gorodetski, Marina Moroz, Dzianis Yantsevich and director Daria Potaturko will present the literary and musical composition "The Blizzard", which will be imbued with the soulful music of Georgy Sviridov (accompanied by Tatiana Panasyuk).

And the next project by Tatiana Tretiak and the String Quintet Serenada will take us to Italy, Spain and Cuba. This incendiary music will sound in the concert "Always in my Heart".

On 27 June (Sunday), the audience will be delighted by two bands of the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus – "A. M. A. D. I. S. Brass" and "Gloria".
