A magnificent festival of opera has come to a close at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. Our heartfelt thanks to our cherished audience who joined us throughout these six nights. The 15th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum is now a part of history. We look forward to welcoming you back for the 16th edition!

The second premiere of the 93rd season took place as part of the Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum: George Frideric Handel's opera Acis and Galatea was presented in the Chamber Hall.

The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus has presented the first premiere of the 93rd season, Pyotr  Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker.

Premieres, guests, stars, music... The 15th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum opens at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus on 11 December.

On 19 December, the lead roles of Tatiana Larina and Eugene Onegin in Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera will be performed by Dmitry Zuev and Natalia Petrozhitskaya, soloists of the Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre

The 15th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum will open on 11 December with a performance of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orleans. The second performance of The Maid of Orleans will take place on 12 December.

The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus invites you on a journey through Time on 13 January. This year, the theatre will host the Old New Year’s Ball for the 17th time. ЗАКАЗАТЬ БИЛЕТ 

On 20 December, the premiere of George Frideric Handel’s Acis and Galatea will take place at the Chamber Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. The composer described the piece as a “little opera” in his correspondence; yet, three centuries of its existence have proven that Handel created a true baroque masterpiece.

On 11 November, Ruslan Yudin, a renowned soloist of the Natalia Sats Moscow State Academic Children’s Musical Theatre, will perform one of the most popular arias, “What is Our Life? A Game!” ЗАКАЗАТЬ БИЛЕТ

On 16 December, as part of the 15th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum, the Dmitri Shostakovich Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre presents Sergey Slonimsky's opera The Master and Margarita at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. ЗАКАЗАТЬ БИЛЕТ

On 14 and 15 October, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will present its production of Tchaikovsky’s opera The Maid of Orleans, which premiered last season, on the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia as part of the tenth edition of the Festival of Musical Theatres “To See Music”.

On 7 September, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus opens the ballet season with the evening of one-act ballets “Danses" (Boléro, Danse macabre, Carmen). In the 92nd season, this "triptych" was presented by the theatre's principal choreographer, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Igor Kolb. 

The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will open its 93rd season on 4 September with the new title in its repertoire, Pyotr  Tchaikovsky's opera The Maid of Orleans. The next performance is scheduled for 5 September. 

For the 15th time, the most beautiful summer evenings took place in the Belarusian Versailles. From 20 to 22 June, more than 4,000 guests came to Nesvizh to attend the 15th edition of the festival “Evenings of the Bolshoi Theatre at the Radziwill Castle”. 

On 17 June, the premiere of Tchaikovsky's opera The Maid of Orleans at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus was a great success. This large-scale piece has been staged for the first time in the theatre’s 92-year history.

On 4 July, the ballet Anastasia will be performed at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus to mark the 70th anniversary of the noted Belarusian composer, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus Vyacheslav Kuznetsov. 

Igor Kolb's ballet Illusions of Love will open the 5th International Art Festival “Shostakovich. Beyond Time”, which will take place at the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The soloist of the Helikon-Opera, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia (Moscow) and the Mariinsky Theatre (St Petersburg) Ivan Gyngazov will perform Minsk. On 12 November, he will appear in the title role in Samson et Dalila by Camille Saint-Saëns.
